Each image was originally created as a reductive woodcut print and every page of the calendar features a seasonal image paired with the month's dates in a minimalist style. With clean, spacious blocks for each date, there is plenty of room for adding personal events and reminders. Printed locally in Minnesota by a carbon-neutral, employee-owned company.

Nan creates illustrations by carving an image out of wood and printing it by hand onto paper with a green certified printer. Nan works out of her home studio in Grand Marais, Minnesota.
